The pioneer of the tracked access platform over 20 years ago, Teupen Maschinenbau GmbH were the first to combine tracked chassis with spider leg shaped stabilisers. This combination created a machine that could drive and be operated on almost any surface, from delicate internal floors, to soft, slippery and rough terrain.

Designed to spread the load of the machine across a larger area than with wheels, thus reducing ground bearing pressure. This particular feature is popular with Architects and Facilities Managers who have to work within particularly low floor loadings.

Teupen Spiderlifts exert an especially low surface load whilst setup in their working position. Modern architecture and floor designs dictate that typical floor surface loadings must not exceed 5kN/mē. Teupen Spiderlifts generate surface loadings significantly lower than this.
